Pork Tenderloin

How can you transform a pork loin from ordinary to extraordinary, my dear friends? There is only one way – marinate it. That’s right, if you want to elevate your pork loin from dry and lackluster to juicy and flavorful, all it takes is a good marinade and some time on the grill or in the oven.

Unfortunately, many home cooks are too lazy or rushed to think about preparing dinner 8 to 10 hours in advance. But with just a little planning ahead, you can turn your mediocre meals into delightful dining experiences. Oh, and never buy those pre-package loins marinated at the grocery stores. They’ve typically sat in a bad marinade for far too long.

We’ve had our fair share of pork loins throughout the years, but nothing compares to the taste and tenderness achieved through this marinating method. The succulent aromas wafting from the kitchen as it cooks will have your mouth watering in anticipation. Trust us, this is a game-changing approach to cooking pork loin that you won’t regret taking the time for.

  1. Whisk together all ingredients and then pour over the pork loin in a container that can be sealed.
  2. Place in the refrigerator and marinate 8 hours or more, turning the loin over at least once or twice during the marinating process.
  3. Heat your grill on high and be sure to spray grates with olive oil, or coat grill grates with olive oil, before putting the pork loin on the grill.
  4. Turn down the heat to medium and then put the pork loin on the grill.
  5. You should get a nice sear on all sides of the pork loin by turning the loin over, but be sure you do not go beyond a dark brown sear.

  7. It is done when the thermometer reads 145 degrees in the center of the roast.
  8. Remove the roast, let it sit for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
