This a gem in Georgetown Kentucky. For us, the steaks are the best of the best in Kentucky.

The atmosphere is also great. Rodney’s is located in a historic restored 1840’s home located near downtown Georgetown. The interior is classic old Kentucky, with a fireplace, large moldings and decor that make us think of that old Kentucky home. Out back they have a nice patio and garden, perfect for that quiet summer evening.

We have been here many times and, as with all our recommended restaurants, it’s hard to ever recall a dish that didn’t delight. Our favorites include every steak they have ever made us (the meat is truly prime), the crab cakes, the goat cheese salad, the lamb, all the seafood, and the duck.

Though we live well over an hour away, we make the drive from La Grange Kentucky often. Believe me, it is always worth it. After all, beside Chef Rodney being one of the most talented chefs in Kentucky, he’s a Bear fan. What could be better? Haha.
